Call for Special Sessions Proposals

We invite proposals for special sessions that align with the overarching theme of veterinary epidemiology and economics and demonstrate relevance, significance, and innovation. Special sessions should provide a unique and engaging forum for in-depth discussions, debates, and knowledge sharing. We envision a special session to fill half a day within one of the simultaneous tracks and to include a number of invited speakers followed by speakers from the general abstract submission process that are related to the special session topic. Please note that speakers for these special sessions will not be provided with funding to attend the conference.

Special session proposals should be submitted by 3 November 2023 through the online form below and include the following information:

  • Name, email address and affiliation of the session organiser
  • Title of the special session
  • A brief description of the session’s theme and objectives (maximum 200 words)
  • List of potential speakers or contributors
  • Proposed format and schedule for the session (maximum 100 words)

Topics will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and organisers of selected sessions will be notified in November 2023. For inquiries related to special session proposals, please feel free to contact Mark Stevenson [email protected] or Anke Wiethoelter [email protected]
